Dear Parents

On behalf of the Parent Teacher Fundraising Association (PTFA) I would like to warmly welcome you and your child to St Caolans.

Please allow me to introduce myself. I am the chair of the newly formed PTFA at St Caolans. The purpose of the PTFA is to provide support to the staff and pupils of the school and to assist in raising funds for extra curricular activities, outings and additional items needed by the school. It is also a good chance to meet with parents from the school. We aim to encourage the involvement of children, staff and parents in our activities for the continuous improvement of the school environment and ultimately the children and their enjoyment of the school.

This year we have raised over £3000 from various fundraising events. This has helped us to provide new construction toys and learning games to each classroom as well as purchasing resources for to day to day running of the school.

The new school year promises to be just as profitable with events already being organized, such as our Night at the races, and Hack.

I would just like to take this opportunity to make you aware that we do exist and you are more than welcome to come along to a PTFA meeting. Your input however great or small will be most valuable.

The PTFA look forward to seeing you in the New Year.

Yours Sincerely,

Jules Miskelly (PTFA chair)
